The Accounting Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating goals, programs, and processes for six core Executive Compensation plans, including stock options and deferred compensation plans. In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems and effect both short term and long term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Plan key tollgates and lead the Executive Compensation Finance Team through the quarter close process
  • Lead the EC Finance Team financial reporting process, including review of the Annual report footnote and SEC Proxy filing for accuracy and compliance
  • Lead internal and external audit engagements – plan quarterly reviews, and respond to any findings
  • Develop Functional Cost estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews, and drive quarterly variance analysis
  • Lead key supplier relationships – drive operational controllership and process improvements
  • Work directly with the Corporate Tax team and Global Business Controllers to obtain non-US tax benefit on stock option costs
  • Provide analysis to support corporate initiatives, acquisitions and dispositions
  • Draft GE GAP and technical accounting memos - Share based payments, deferred plans, etc.
  • Drive simplification and controllership strategy across the EC plan areas

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
    Eligibility Requirements:

  • MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • MUST be willing to travel up to 5% of the time.
