The Lead Analyst, Application Services will be responsible for web & application tier management activities across GE’s Web Access Management & Single Sign-On (SSO) services.
Act as the subject matter expert for GE’s web & application tier product stacks within the Single Sign-On & Federated Identity services
Own vendor product version upgrade & patch management, server refresh management, configuration optimization and new service deployments & inventory cataloguing
Identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions
Plan and execute the release of IT solutions into internal and external facing systems and environments
Coordinate release activities with internal groups and partners
Facilitate solution design approvals to ensure release success & operational integrity
Coordinate formal transition to operations (TTO) for all released solutions
Act as an operational escalation point for the web access services when needed
Manage resources during incidents / outages impacting applications ensuring process adherence, root cause analysis and resolution within agreed to SLA’s
Drive standardization & simplification to reduce integration cycle time and cost
Assure conformance to GE IT compliance methods, standards & practices & promote their creation
Document adherence to standards, policies & compliance requirements
Assist project leaders in the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of new system integrations or new enhancements to existing web access processes
Work with other Identity & Access management support teams in cross-functional capacity on various projects & day-to-day activities
Stay up-to-date on trends, rapidly changing technology and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing with peers and stakeholders
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technical field (or HS/GED and a minimum 5 years of experience in a broader IT field such as application development, infrastructure management or related fields in addition to experience in Security technologies)
Minimum 3 years of experience with JAVA and commercial web and application servers, including, but not limited to Sun/Oracle Web Server, Apache, & JBOSS running on Solaris

Demonstrated experience with: CA Siteminder, LDAP, SAML, Sun / Oracle Directory Server, Virtual Directory Technologies, Solaris 8 & 10, Ajax, JSP, HTML, J2EE, SOAP, XML
Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer
Builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint
