The Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is seeking a Lead Application Developer to assist in managing the development of software solutions for the agency. This will include helping to move dated legacy systems onto a new platform as well as providing guidance and support for new application development. Will mentor other developers and provide the leadership in setting goals and measuring outcomes. This position will conduct business analysis and prepare requirements definitions for use in moving forward with new and existing business applications.
Must demonstrate experience with leadership skills. Must be able to demonstrate experience in managing medium to large projects within budget and on schedule. Has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the technical design for an application. Candidates must show a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of agency management. Soft skills required include interpersonal, communications (both oral and written) and a strong customer service orientation. Experience must include hands on working knowledge with at least three of the six technologies below:
? Cold Fusion
? Web Services
? SharePoint Services
Microsoft OS and Office required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. Demonstrated experience in migrating legacy systems to new development platform.
