The Lead Buyer assures Sourcing activities are in full compliance with company sourcing policies and procedures.
In addition, you will:
Assure Sourcing activities are in full compliance with company sourcing policies and procedures
Total Cost of Ownership - obtains lowest price for equipment while ensuring quality, working capital, and delivery requirements are met
Solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations
Expedites all purchase order deliverables including equipment and data
Arrange for all shipments of equipment and materials, including all required commercial, statutory, and import / export documentation
Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needs
Under the direction of the Sourcing Leader, executes procurement activities for assigned commodities and projects
Prepare, issue, and negotiate purchase orders, subcontracts, terms and conditions, supply agreements, and other agreements with suppliers
Monitor supplier performance to quality, delivery, cost, and working capital objectives
Be responsible for the delivery of assigned goals and objectives
Manage assigned projects as well as the module construction commodity buy
Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management) and minimum 5 years Sourcing, Supply Chain or Project Management experience, or High Sshool Diploma / GED with minimum 12 Years Sourcing experience

Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite products
Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, circumference, and volume
Education and experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation
Experienced negotiation abilities with direct suppliers in a leadership role
Project and EPC sourcing and purchasing experience.
Experience with SAP ERP System
Experience with completing Net Present Value (NPV) / Internal Rate of Return (IRR) financial analysis
Procurement experience in an Engineering Sourcing environment
Experience with procuring modules / skids and / or construction projects
