Position: Lead Case Manager

Reports to: Senior Lead Case Manager
Status: Full time, exempt
Education: Masters Degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services field and at least three years of progressive employment experience in the mentioned fields that demonstrate supervisory and case management experience. Or Bachelors Degree in behavior sciences, human services, or social services fields and at least five years of progressive employment experience in the mentioned fields that demonstrate supervisory and case management experience
Experience: Child welfare experience, strongly preferred. Professional license in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services, strongly preferred. And a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Supervises: Case Managers
Summary: Responsible for coordinating Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) case management services including the management and supervision of children’s services professionals.
Coordinate and oversee each UAC’s assessment, individual service plan, family re-unification, and discharge.
Train and supervise assigned program personnel.
Provide appropriate social services in accordance to ORR standards, state licensing standards, contract terms, agency policies and procedures, accreditation bodies, and funding requirements
Ensure that all services provided to each UAC are properly documented in each child’s case file.
Responsible for the analysis of the nature, severity and frequency of risks.
Serve as a Case Manager with a caseload when needed
Responsible for timely completion of assignments
Adapts schedule to changing workloads to include work in evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
Ensures that all documentation by Case Managers is completed appropriately and in a timely manner
Perform other duties as directed.
