The lead cook is responsible for coordinating and assisting in the planning, storage, preparation, and delivery of food to patients, visitors and staff. Food production training and experience in hospital food service including therapeutic diets or five (5) years in hospital quantity hot food production including modified diets preferred. Culinary knowledge to include cookery skills and techniques as well as baking and garnishing skills. High school diploma or GED required.
