Coordinates and directs all phases of the College Custodial Services and activities for assigned shifts.
30%Directs daily custodial services.
20% Directs Custodian II in the areas of job training, work assignments, cleaning & set ups.
20% Keeps inventory, order products & schedules equipment repairs.
10% Conducts quality inspections of assigned areas.
10% Keeps accurate records of employee¿s absences.
10% Assist manager with employee performance evaluations.
Experience in industrial & or institutional cleaning methods.
Supervisory experience in directing and training custodians.
Experience in ordering and inventory custodial supplies using online program systems as well as Microsoft programs such as excel and word programs (i.e, Excel & Word)
Trianing, education or experience with GREEN cleaning techniques/procedures and supplies.
Training and experience in all areas of floor care.
Special Working Conditions
May be required to lift 50 lb. Standing, stooping, walking for extended periods of time.
Exposure to substances which may present health hazards if not handled properly.
May be required to work evening and weekend hours, travelingand to offsite locations; may be required to woek at other sites. A valid Arizona Class D Driver's License is required.
