San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino is in need of a Lead Food Server. The Lead Food Server is responsible for ensuring each respective department details are completed in a timely manner. The Lead is not included in the servicing rotation to ensure availability for designated duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring Servers are in their assigned sections and servicing customers with drinks and food.
Ensuring Servers are answering calls for service and are following up.
Scheduling a daily rotation and breaks to ensure all breaks are taken while maintaining adequate coverage on the floor and follow through during the entire shift.
Ensures the individuals scheduled are in proper uniform and are compliant with company policies.
Customers input- be professional in handling customer concerns and relay these customer suggestions to your immediate Supervisor.
Train and re-train all employees who are within the scope of authority.
Responsible to brief, report and inform the immediate Supervisor of any problems or customers with employees and customers.
Responsible for cleanliness, organization and preparedness of immediate workspace and adjacent areas before during and after the shift.
Update the staff of the daily specials/soups and any food items of out of stock.
Knowledgeable in the Safety and Security procedures and report and inform Supervisor of all incidents or occurrences.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Current Food Handler Card & negative TB Test.
Must have good basic mathematical, organizational and communication skills.
Must be an exemplary employee and display the ability to work well with others.
Employed two or more years as a Food Server.
Must be reliable, pleasant and possess a good attitude.
Be able to provide good service to sometimes-difficult situations and able to cope in potentially stressful situations.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bingo & Casino is a cigarette smoke filled environment.
Must possess a high degree of tact and diplomacy in dealing with peers and customers.
Work hours and days vary to meet the needs of the business.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class "A" Gaming License.
