Will gather requirements, lead the testing effort and work with the Merchandise Planning development team for the Clearance System Enhancements project. This candidate will work with the Merchandising department to gather and document the requirements for the Clearance System Enhancements project. Once requirements are finalized, will work with the development team to ensure an application is built to support the requirements.
During development the Functional Analyst will be responsible for developing the testing strategy and test scripts, which will be executed during the System Test phase.
: Performs most complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation across multiple platforms and/or cross-function in business areas.
: Performs process improvement and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
: Must demonstrate highest level understanding of Office Depot's business systems and industry requirements, and uses this knowledge to proactively identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions for complex processes in demanding business situations.
: Will demonstrate expert understanding of potential functional design issues by suggesting alternatives.
