The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying and qualifying a French or English speaking prospect as a potential buyer of Interactive Intelligence products and services. An integral component of this role is to empower our Sales Team in the field with the highest quality leads and appointments through outbound marketing.
Manages projects, relationships, and deliverables for an assigned territory.
Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new sales opportunities through cold calling and follow up calls to campaign events.
Achieves aggressive quarterly targets (number of qualified opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting, and sales skills).
Communicates complex technical product information to prospects in order to educate prospects and qualify the lead.
Responds to inquiries via live chat, email, and incoming/outbound calls.
Acquires referrals and further contact information where needed.
Supports the company’s marketing efforts by following up on leads, inquiries, etc.
Bachelor’s degree or experience work equivalent.
2 years of proven business-to-business experience in a successful inside sales, pre-sales, or lead generation environment.
Must be fluent in French and English, written and verbal .
Experience in Microsoft Office applications Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint as well as significant experience with customer relationship management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to engage with technical and high level business decision makers and demonstrate the same level of professionalism, commitment, and enthusiasm call after call.
Knowledge of the telecommunications industry (Contact Center, IVR, PBX, CTI, ACD) is an advantage .
SharePoint experience is a plus .
