BAE Systems has an opening for a Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) analyst to work on the OCONUS deployment of the new VADER/VEGS GMTI/Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensor and exploitation system.
Major analytical responsibilities include exploiting GMTI data and SAR imagery in a multi-INT fusion environment with exposure and use of multiple intelligence analysis sources, creating and disseminating intelligence products, cross-cueing with other platforms, and supporting collection management.
Since this is a newly deployed system the candidate will familiarize the VADER/VEGS team with current warfighter TTPs and CONOPS, test the VADER/VEGS system, new features and identify deficiencies, and work with the customer to refine system architecture. The candidate will write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), user manuals, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), and some code, help refine TTPs and CONOPS based on feedback, and support the training and development of new VADER operator/analysts,.
The position is located OCONUS, but involves traveling to various locations CONUS for training, prior to deployment. This position averages two months of CONUS pre-deployment training, and six month OCONUS deployment. Required Education:
The position will require an OCONUS deployment of six months, in a combat zone. Candidate must meet customer mandated fitness standards requirements to pass a flight physical and deploy OCONUS to conduct airborne operations with the equipment. Customer reserves right to approve all contract personnel. Experience with MOVINT Client, ArcGIS, Google Earth, ISR Forensics Tool, and Microsoft Office. Common Ground Station (CGS) experience. Experience with the testing, development, and evaluation of new equipment/systems, experience as an instructor, and prior deployment to combat zone as MTI/SAR/Imagery Analyst is desired.
