DESCRIPTION

Plans, schedules and conducts broad and or technically complex oil and gas processing engineering assignments requiring technical strength, judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures. Plan and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers. Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors. Travels to project meetings and job sites as necessary. Develops new techniques and solutions and suggest and justifies product and work process improvements. Independently performs most assignments. Prepares engineering proposal packages, H&MB, PFD's, P&ID's, PSV sizing and selection, equipment sizing and selection, RFQ package preparation, technical bid evaluations, including all aspects of oil and gas engineering designs from concept to start-up. Experience in the development of Conceptual Engineering, Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering of new oil and gas production facilities or the modification of existing ones. Experience shall include: * Onshore and Offshore facilities* Technology selection process* Oil / Gas / Water Separation and Treating Facilities (Upstream - Surface / topside installations)* Reciprocating and Centrifugal Compressors with gas engines / gas turbines / electric drivers* Dew Point Control and NGL Extraction plants based on propane refrigeration and JT valve* Gas treating units for the removal of Water, CO2, H2S and Mercury using TEG, mol sieves, amines, activated carbon, Membrane. * Oil dehydration and desalters using settling tanks, heater treaters, electrostatic treaters and desalters * Produced water treatment, water filtration. Gas flotation units.* Gas, oil and two phase pipelines* Separators, Heat exchangers, air fan coolers, heaters, pumps, control valves, distillation columns* Relief valves, vent and flare systems* Process simulations, hydraulic calculation, equipment sizing* Hazid and Hazop * Elaboration of proposals* Process or Mechanical Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in production facilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum engineering. Advanced degree preferred. A fully competent engineer with a well-developed knowledge of discipline and engineering principles, practices and knowledge of all codes, standards, and regulations. Experience with HYSIS, Flarenet, and other Process and Facilities Engineering Software. Comprehensive knowledge of the organizations technology in general and knowledge and understanding of how the work integrates into a complete project. 15+ years of related engineering experience. P.E. registration preferred.
