Terex AWP, headquartered in Redmond Washington, has created a new position in response to business growth: Lead Payroll Administrator. This new position will serve as a lead US payroll processor to a team of processors for a growing population of approximately 3000 team members in multiple states.

This role will also serve as lead during process improvement projects and act as the change agent for the payroll department. The Lead Processor will promote best practices and leverage technologies with the AWP Payroll Team that increase operational efficiencies, streamline current processes, and reduce payroll–related costs. Along with the rest of the payroll team, the Lead will support our team members through training on the use of the payroll portal as well as the Time Reporting and Attendance systems. This role reports to the Payroll Manager within the HR Department.Responsibilities: Administer biweekly payroll for assigned employee groups, including reviewing electronic timesheets, cross–auditing transactions received via multiple data imports and exports, and garnishment administrationIdentify and lead process improvement opportunities and drive improvement implementationAct as back–up support to Payroll ManagerAssist Payroll Manager with additional payroll related projectsProvide scheduled and ad–hoc reports as requiredTroubleshoot payroll and timekeeping system issuesTrain and assist Team Members and HR Team with questions as they arise regarding pay and time reporting policies and proceduresCreate and maintain process documentationWork closely with Benefits Team to administer Leave of Absence pay and benefits–related deductionsManage multiple priorities in a fast–paced and constantly changing environment Payroll Certification (CPP/FPC) strongly preferredAA Degree or higherpreferred 5–7 years of experience with mid to large company and multi–state payroll processingStrong knowledge of ADP systems ( PayForce, Time Saver, ADP Reporting) strongly preferredStrong project management and time management skillsStrong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, functions)Solid problem solving and analytical skillsExperience with Lean Process Improvements a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service and follow through skills
