JOB DESCRIPTION:
• DEVELOPS, MAINTAINS, IMPLEMENTS, REVIEWS, & ENSURES APPROVAL AND DISTRIBUTION OF FLEET, SITE, AND SECTION ADMINISTRATIVE AND TECHNICAL PROCEDURES for assigned functional area to ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance with all required guidelines and regulations.

• REVIEWS INCOMING & EXISTING REQUESTED PROCEDURE CHANGES TO ENSURE APPROPRIATE PRIORITIES ASSIGNED, REGULATORY COMMITMENTS AND ADVERSE CONDITIONS RESOLVED in a timely manner, & backlog maintained in accordance with assigned goals and measures.

• Reviews engineering modification change packages, operating experience reports, technical specification change packages, & other administrative or technical program changes for impacts to assigned procedures.

• Reviews & assists peer writers with procedure changes, emergent issues, and meeting planned schedules.

• Provides assistance to or direct support for special procedure projects, software or hardware updates and testing, industry peer groups or benchmark teams, and internal or external assessments.

• Maintains training & qualifications as required for assigned procedures and position.

• Serves on emergency response organization as directed and attends assigned drills and associated training and pre-job briefs.

• Develops, maintains, implements, reviews, and ensures approval and distribution of fleet, site, and section administrative & technical procedures for assigned functional area to ensure safe and efficient operation in compliance w/ all required guidelines and regulations.

• REVIEWS ENGINEERING MOD CHANGE PACKAGES, OPERATING EXPERIENCE REPORTS, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE PACKAGES, & OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE OR TECHNICAL PROGRAM CHANGES for impacts to assigned procedures.

• Assists w/obtaining reviews & validations from other impacted end user or cross disciplinary organizations & coordinates period reviews of assigned procedures.

• Provides assistance to or direct support for special procedure projects, software or hardware updates and testing, industry peer groups or benchmark teams,& internal or external assessments

• Serves on response organization as directed & attends assigned drills and associated training and pre-job briefs.

• Associate’s degree7 + years in a nuclear environment with 2 or more years in nuclear procedures related support work.

• COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF OPERATIONAL AND TECHNICAL PRINCIPLES, THEORIES, PROCEDURES, AND PRACTICES.

• GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF PROCEDURES, REGULATIONS, AND PROGRAMS WITHIN NUCLEAR.

• STRONG RESEARCH SKILLS WITH ABILITY TO SPEAK AND WRITE IN A CLEAR AND CONCISE MANNER.

• Ability to pass RWT/ Plant Access training.

• Prefer Bachelor’s degree within a technical or scientific discipline.

• PREFER PPA PROCEDURE WRITER CERTIFICATION
