To support our Company’s strategic initiatives and continued growth, we are currently seeking top talent to join our IT Department as a Lead Programmer Analyst. The Lead Programmer Analyst (LPA) will be responsible for the maintenance, support and development of the Oracle 11i Financial Applications for both Cumberland Farms and Gulf Oil. Currently, this includes Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Cash Management, Property Manager, Purchasing and Inventory; the last three applications are used only by CFI. Additional applications may be implemented in the future.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide support and ongoing improvement of CFG’s Oracle EBS application systems (currently release 188.8.131.52), related but not limited to:
Serve as primary technical application resource for Oracle production down issues.
- Troubleshooting issues reported by Business Owners and helping them to understand how their application works.
- Recreating the issue in a test instance.
- Reviewing Oracle Support for patches.
- Developing and/or modifying custom programs in PL/SQL, as requested by the Business Owners.
- Preparing those modifications for UAT and ensuring the test scenarios results are complete and accurate.
- Preparing documentation for rollout to production.
Assist the Project Manager during major system initiatives
Provide ongoing support for new functionality rollout, new reports and enhancements, identifying and correcting bugs
Policies, Procedures and Audit Compliance
Maintain assigned Adventnet Project Requests, ensuring projects are fully documented and proper signoffs are received from Business Owners, in accordance with IT Policies and Procedures.
5+ years of experience in development and support with Oracle EBS Financial Systems in a significant corporate environment, including proven experience supporting mission critical applications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or a related field, or equivalent
SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Workflow, OAF/ADF- JDeveloper, Web Services, SQL*Loader, Shell Scripting, Oracle Forms/Reports, Alerts, FSG, Java, Performance tuning and Discoverer
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Office and Visio
Strong Technical/Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Open Inbound/Outbound Interfaces/APIs
Strong knowledge in AOL- Application Object Library Management / System Administration
Proficient in Data Models, ER - Diagrams, System Architecture, process flow and Data flows
Proven experience in best practices Change Management
Expert knowledge in PL/SQL
Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS 11i Financial Applications
Well-developed problem solving and documentation skills
Full understanding of Change Management and logical security principles
Ability to organize and express technical facts well, both orally and in writing
Strong data extraction and analysis skills
Experience with the Linux operating system, including shell scripts and SFTP
Ability to maintain confidential information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with professionals in positions of influence; ability to understand customer requests and translate them into technical terms
Exhibited troubleshooting and problem solving skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
Solid time management and organizational skills; excellent attention to detail
