The Lead QA Engineer will be responsible for building a
high-performance feature driven QA t eam. Must have a proven track record of success leading a technical QA team with a strong sense of feature quality ownership. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical, collaboration and mentoring skills to provide leadership and expertise throughout the entire QA lifecycle, ensuring the success of manual and automation efforts.

Essential Functions
  • Develop expertise in the features/product areas owned by your team to advocate on behalf of the customer in feature team meetings. This involves a constant oversight assuring that changes to existing functionality are truly required and correctly deployed.

  • Assisting test team in the development of all testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk.

  • Ensuring test planning, execution, and reporting is effective, efficient, standardized, coordinated, and integrated.

  • This position requires healthy doses of initiative and the ability to remain flexible and responsive in a very dynamic environment.

  • Performs other duties as required.
SKILLS AND
ABILITIES:
·
3-5 yrs of QA experience in testing commercially sold software
·
Good programming skills in C#, Java or C++
·
Strong leadership skills
·
Expert at SQA methodologies, tools and approaches (black box, white box and automated testing experience)
·
Strong technical skills with the ability to lead the team's automation testing efforts
·
Extensive knowledge of QA tools and methodologies
·
Strong experience driving tactical objectives in an
assertive, fast-growing, mission-critical Quality Engineering organization
·
Operational knowledge and experience in
on-demand, software services development is a plus
·
Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and
achieve results
·
Strong verbal and written communication skills, impeccable organizational and time management skills
·
Agile, proactive, and comfortable working with ambiguous specifications and can prioritize on the fly
EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE:
·
Bachelor's Degree. A BS in CS or
related field preferred
·
Experience in short release cycles, the
full software lifecycle, and have worked on a product that was actually released for public consumption
·
Experience working on complex
functional testing projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies
