Internal Lead Software Developers work in a team made up of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment. Lead Software Developers are expected to bring knowledge and experience to the development teams.
Strong Java coding. The ability to build complex components from scratch. This is a hands-on position.
Strong understanding of algorithms, scalability, fault tolerance. Ability to work with a large, knowledge and data-oriented system.
Ability to contribute to a complex distributed system while keeping that system as simple as possible.
Hands-on experience designing and building key components of a complex software product or service.
Innovative: the ability to solve new problems that result in highly reliable operational systems.
Desire to be a key contributor in a project that will bring machines and software together in previously unimagined ways and to this for operational physical systems.
Ability to work up and down a software stack.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institute
Minimum 5 years of experience in software design and development.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Java programming languages
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in the East Bay Area in Northern California.
Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be 18 years or older.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Spring framework experience preferred.
Lead Software Developers who will focus on the data back end will additionally require experience in SQL and NoSQL. Experience in Hibernate and Hibernate OGM could both be useful.
Experience in Oracle database preferred.
Experience with semantic web or graph database.
Strong knowledge of JUnit and Test Driven Development practices &test-oriented attitude. Ability to anticipate how to test components and suites of a complex system.
Good to have large scale data Management.
Strong problem solving abilities
Able to work under minimal supervision
High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills.
Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.
Desire to change the world as we know it by creating the industrial internet.
