Position Title: Lead Specialist, Cost Control

Position Description

KBR is seeking a(n) Lead Specialist, Cost Control to join its team in a direct hire capacity in Houston.

Responsible for the implementation and execution of all aspects of cost control for a major project including trending, analysis, change control, forecasting, cash flow, etc..

Prepare and issue weekly, monthly and quarterly reports related to work hour expenditures, productivity, commitments, expenditures and forecast, from both a cost and a revenue standpoint.

Assure that cost forecast process is in place and implemented, resulting in a future oriented forecast of expenditures

Interface with management on finalization of cost forecast, identification of key issues, and recommendations for corrective action.

Responsible for the technical content and accuracy of all forecasts and reports.

8+ years experience in cost control..

Prefer experience in SAP and the KBR work processes.

Must have experience in cost control, including change management and forecasting.

College degree preferred.

Strong MS Office skills.

Need good communication, analytical and presentation skills.
