Provide IT Support Services including Engineering and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) that will assist in managing emerging requirements, enhance and develop IT capabilities in support of Military Sealift Command's (MSC) mission. Assist in the development of governance to ensure IT capabilities align to the strategic plan, the technical architecture road map and DOD mandates.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Technical Service Support on the project.
Oversee the staffing support based on the scope, number, and complexity of Technical Service Support (TSS) request received under Technical Direction Letters for Warranty Service, Engineering Service, and Rapid Prototype projects.
Performs requirements definition, systems engineering, design, integration, testing, and warranty support for TSS projects.
Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized application and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of that subject matter for effective implementation.
Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific application to arrive at automated solutions.
5+ years of experience in area of expertise
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent.
BS in computer related field or equivalent experience
