As a Halliburton Lead Information Technology Technical Support Analyst, you, often working independently and providing leadership to others, apply your knowledge of computer network systems to manage performance, availability, and capacity to optimal service levels. Develop and document processes and procedures for those systems while ensuring compliance by your team members. You also get to resolve complex technical problems in your area of responsibility.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is desirable and a minimum of eight years experience in application administration, including experience n a corporate IT environment, is required.
Halliburton IT Security Architecture and Operations is seeking to hire a senior network security professional with a strong background in both general networking and IT Security technologies to join our current network security team of two. Primary duties will be to oversee the network security program including the support and deployment/upgrade of Cisco firewalls and IPS, to develop and implement operational processes/procedures for the team, and to participate in the firewall exception review process. Secondary duties include reviewing and advising on policies, security standards, and configurations governing networking technologies managed outside of IT Security’s operational control (switches, routers, VoIP, etc.).

The selected candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as part of a larger team. This individual must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and business professionals. While some travel maybe required, it is not expected to be a regular occurrence.

Requirements

 Minimum of five years of experience within an enterprise environment

 Experience with Cisco ASAs (firewall/IPS) and Cisco Security Manager

 Prior Network Operations experience

 Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

 Undergraduate degree

 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or willingness/ability to complete within one calendar year of employment

 Proficient with Microsoft Office

 Valid passport or ability to procure one

 Ability to pass background check

 Ability to carry 25 pounds

Preferred Skills/Abilities

 IT project management experience

 Cisco or relevant SANS certifications
