Responsibilities /Responsabilités:
Operate/Troubleshoot/repair production equipment as failure(s) occur in a timely manner using industrial safety standards.
Complete machine setups, production and preventive maintenance as directed in a timely manner using industrial safety standards.
Maintain accurate database entries including downtime, description of problem, description of repair and parts used (if applicable.)
Maintain good housekeeping.
Work overtime as necessary.
Correct documentation of inventory parts sign out.
Complete work orders as issued.
Perform functions that include, but are not limited to, operating production equipment, performing production, assisting Engineers and cross training in various manufacturing areas.
Others projects and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Qualifications:
Electrical and mechanical knowledge of high output, automated compact disc manufacturing equipment, support equipment and preventative maintenance procedures.
Must show responsible attitude toward care of equipment.
Ability to interpret technical documentation including schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC ladder logic.)
Must be able to effectively communicate in both the written and verbal using the English language.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to make sound independent decisions within established guidelines.
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a maintenance technician in a high volume output manufacturing environment preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree (AA) from 2 years college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
