To train and lead NARS Artists in exceptional makeup artistry skills and sales and service techniques to develop and drive the NARS business and meet productivity and service goals.
Responsibilities include effective delivery of Training Seminars, In-Store Artist development, Artist Certification, Special Events participation, and Regional team building.
Implement all Training Development Programs for in-store Makeup Artists and Freelance Team.
Teach Artists product knowledge, advanced artistry skills and selling behaviors to enable them to achieve and exceed sales and service goals.
Function as a resource and leader providing product and sales expertise.
Represent the NARS brand in image, artistry, passion and productivity.
Strategize with Regional Manager and Account Executives to develop, execute and review store action plans.
Commit non seminar time to in-store days to drive KPIs including: selling with NARS Artists, reviewing products and programs, elevating artistry skills and Certifying Artists, enhancing productivity
Role model NARS image and performance guidelines with a focus on the NARS Experience.
Coach NARS Artists in-store on behaviors that project the brand image and drive sales.
Implement in-store events & programs following the guidelines developed by corporate office.
Perform in a leadership role during regional NARS Special Event, participate in National Special Events in other territories.
Achieve personal sales goals on a daily basis during Special Events and increase total by assisting client appointments and effectively attracting/pulling clients.
Deliver adult learning focused formal training sessions. Also booking hotels, negotiating rates, confirming and securing travel needs for attendees and seminar set-up.
Work on individual development plans for each Artist.
Assist in recruitment of highly qualified Artists.
Assist Account Executive is assessment of members in terms of product knowledge, artistry skills, sales and service techniques.
Complete & submit monthly Education calendar plans and performance recaps on time.
Submit accurate travel and expense reports with receipts bi-monthly and within corporate guidelines and budgets.
Participate in US Training Summit twice per year.
Minimum five (5) years experience as Sales/Education Executive in the Cosmetic/Beauty industry.
Mandatory formal classroom seminar training experience.
Exceptional artistry skills. Solid coaching, leadership and communication skills.
Position is based in Washington DC/Virginia. Ability to travel 20%.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
