As a Lead UX Developer, you will work closely with Designers and System engineers to build and shape the public interface of GE's cloud and web offerings.
As a Lead UX Developer, you will:
Act as a member of the Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high quality design and development practices
Collaborate with system engineers, backend developers and user experience design teams to implement UI solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions
Have a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering OR “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in software development.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
Must be willing to travel

Experience building rich, single-page browser applications using an MV* framework (Backbone, Ember, Dojo, etc.)
Experience building and using RESTful web services
Solid understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems
Experience building web apps in a load balanced environment
Experience working in a Java web development shop
