You're both a design thinker and a craftsperson , with expert level skills in both visual and interaction design. You develop strong relationships and collaborate effortlessly with your partners in design, product and engineering. Millions of users listen to music for free every day on Spotify. Spotify compensates artists by offering Spotify Premium and serving ads to free users. Spotify seeks an experienced and creative individual to lead the design of our user experience for ads. Your mission will be to make the ads experience of Spotify native and value-add to the user's journey. You will overhaul ad formats and channels in Spotify, whether they be messaging Spotify Premium, promoted music, or brands. You will work proactively with the rest of the design team to build paid and earned promotional channels in Spotify mobile, tablet, web and desktop applications. By testing and continually iterating different interactions, you will understand and delight users.
7+ yrs experience in UX roles at a consumer focused company, with atleast 3 years of focus on ad platforms or ad-supported media properties
Proven track record of testing ad user experiences and driving improvement to key metrics.
Exceptional communication skills; ability to speak fluently to business people and engineers
Experience across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
Ability to rapidly produce multiple UX/UI concepts
Bold vision for the future of Spotify as well as digital and social media in general
