How you will contribute:
Duties of this position would include MIG and TIG welding, operating machines such as shear, press brake, and additional fabrication equipment. Assembly of equipment from fabricated parts and working from sketches and drawings to produce parts from sheet metal, plate and bar stock will be additional responsibilities of the role. Additional duties will include setting up and operating saws, shears, press brake, punches, and ironworker.
What you need to qualify:
Welder applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and must meet required norms on aptitude tests. Three to five years of MIG and TIG welding is preferred. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to be a team player, follow directions, and have a quality focus. Previous knowledge of ductwork systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning are a plus.
