GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Supports the individual EDPR North America LEAN Teams in the assessment, development, and educational process of LEAN focused to further enhance cross functional/departmental process efficiencies.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Designs and revises processes and procedures with pertinent subject matter experts
• Supports business process optimization initiatives, including analysis, diagnosis, and solution-creation across multiple departments
• Ensures plant personnel are trained in the application of LEAN and 6S waste disciplines for Continuous Improvement (CI)
• Helps develop Team Members skills; LEAN, problem solving, and leadership
• Manages the implementation of planned LEAN projects
• Participates in tracking and reporting financial and other impacts to LEAN activities to all employees
• Assists in creating and editing presentations for conferences and internal management meetings
• Perform basic data analyses as required
• Create charts, templates, flow maps for standards and clear communication of information
• Apply LEAN manufacturing tools to regularly re-align corporate strategies
• Track and report LEAN improvements
• Effectively lead a team through an entire Kaizen event – from training through project completeness
Position Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; advanced degree preferred
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 2 years LEAN experience as demonstrated through participation in and leadership of Kaizen events/projects
• Possess LEAN Manufacturing program certification and/or demonstrate competency
REQUIRED LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: LEAN and/or LEAN SIXSIGMA Certified
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email to effectively communicate with others
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Lead and manage a team to bring closure to projects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the concepts and tools of LEAN Manufacturing used in Kaizen analysis
• Familiar with Value Stream Mapping tools and stakeholder analyses
