This position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Learning as a member of the Learning and Development team. The Learning Business Partner, Onboarding will partner with other team members to collaborate on content creation, design and delivery and serve as a back-up trainer for other courses as assigned.
Successful candidates will have a strong training background and experience delivering training in both live classroom and remote learning situations. This position is located at the APFM corporate office in downtown Seattle. Telecommuting is not available for the selected candidate.
Serve as the primary facilitator for assigned onboarding content and act as a back-up facilitator for other content as assigned.
Deliver effective and engaging training programs via live classroom, webinar, video conference, Skype, conference call or other modes as necessary.
Administer all pre and post-coursework assignments and follow-up with participants to reinforce learning.
Gather data to create and publish trending reports on critical performance metrics and track progress against benchmarks for team members.
Provide team managers with performance information on new-hire team members in their first 90 days.
Identify under-performing team members and assist management on creating individual Development Plans.
Shadow team members and managers to provide coaching on best practices and performance improvement.
Required Skills and Competencies
Minimum one year of formal training experience, preferably in a service/consulting industry.
Experience in the senior living industry preferred.
Experience using GoToMeeting and GoToTraining products.
Proficiency with the MS Office product suite – primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Communicates effectively – delivers clear, concise and compelling messages, including strong writing, proof reading and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities to meet internal client demands.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
