Leads the design and development of graphic design solutions and branding for Delhaize America, across a wide range of formats/materials including eLearning, Instructor Led, Virtual Classrooms, etc.
•Generates innovative themes, concepts and ideas to enhance visual effectiveness of material (original art, vector graphics, photo, clip art, video).
•Serves as a primary resource to learning associates to develop and maintain learning presence through creative branding that meets the needs of all Learning initiatives to ensure a consistent appearance.
•Collaborate with Learning Specialists and appropriate subject matter experts to determine and create learning graphic design needs across Delhaize America.
•Effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects with the Learning team.
•Recommend optimal learning delivery vehicle for learning solutions using needs assessment results and learning knowledge and experience.
•Design blueprint for each learning solution (layout, sequencing, content, knowledge reviews and testing modules).
•Manage video and photo shoots for programs as needed.
•Build script used for audio and video recording and code development, incorporating proper style format and grammar use for the intended audience.
•Perform program development tasks using the appropriate development tool, including eLearning development.
•Manage external vendors in the development of programs as needed.
•Responsible for clear interaction with team, project staff or business unit members to ensure achievement of goals, effective coordination of group's efforts and constructive feedback on group and individual's performance.
•Bachelor’s degree in design or related field, or 3-5 years’ experience in graphic design/multimedia.
•Creative out of the box thinker with the ability to quickly produce new ideas and concepts.
•Advanced technical knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Products including; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Comfortable on both Windows and MAC platforms.
•Proven experience of video and audio editing and production. Final Cut Pro and Motion experience a plus.
•Project management experience, ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects.
•Working knowledge of print production and prepress.
•Knowledge of adult learning instructional design methodologies.
•Experience in the development of instructor-led training and eLearning programs.
•Strong knowledge of learning technologies and multimedia formats, i.e. Flash, Captivate, etc.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills used to evaluate training requirements, trends, compliance areas and available technologies.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with peers and all levels of management.
•Self-motivated to meet multiple deadlines and business objectives with minimal supervision.
•Strong team player that thrives in a high performing, creative environment.
