Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree in related discipline preferred. Minimum of 7 years experience in designing OD or Learning solutions preferably in the financial services sector. Previous experience in an OD, HR or Learning & Development function required. Demonstrated mastery of adult learning principles. Advanced knowledge of e-Learning technology including LMS/LCMS, content authoring tools and the ability to create and implement blended training solutions. Advanced instructional design and development skills. Ability to lead projects and multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Effective collaboration skills with vendors and internal customers and partners. Ability to build and maintain credibility with internal and external contacts. Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills to deal with internal and external contacts. Strong consulting, analytical, negotiating, problem solving, decision making and problem solving skills. Ability to negotiate, resolve conflict and makes decisions independently. Demonstrated sales and customer service skills Ability to work flexible hours and/or days of the week as required Ability to travel as required
Provides consultative services to design, implement, and evaluate learning solutions and initiatives that engage learners, meet the needs of the business and support the culture of the organization. This will be accomplished through formal and informal methods including instructor-led, on-the-job, virtual, computer-based and other performance support tools and resources.
Key Responsibilities: Assesses learning needs and develops learning and performance support solutions that are in alignment with organizational culture, business goals and positively impact business results. Designs and evaluates learning and performance solutions of all types including computer-based, classroom, virtual or performance support tools. Serves as internal project lead on the development and implementation of learning solutions in collaboration with subject-matter-experts (SME’s). Establishes goals and accountabilities, action steps, timetables, and resource estimates for the timely completion of projects. Collaborates with Delivery team on implementation plans. Manages vendor relationships and results. Identifies potential vendor solutions, assessing “build vs. buy” approach and makes recommendations. Negotiates with vendors to ensure program needs are met and are within budget. Evaluates learning solution impact on performance and organizational goals to measure program effectiveness. Provides consulting, coaching and support to business partners and management on various training-related projects, programs, performance needs or development plans. Communicates with leaders and others at all levels across the organization. Develops training materials to include leader’s guides, end-user materials, job aids, reference materials, etc. Provides support to peers and internal customers in the identification and development of key business processes and organizational design. Utilizes learning management system and other system support to track registration, attendance and course completion data. Keeps abreast of industry best practices as well as emerging learning technologies and support systems resulting in the most effective and efficient solutions. Conducts research and collaborates with SMEs to incorporate knowledge into solutions. Contributes to the development and implementation of departmental business strategies. Assists in the development and management of departmental annual operating plan. Contributes to development of department work flows, processes and procedures. Assists in the development of other OD & Learning team members. Facilitates classroom training and delivers presentations as required. Participates in special projects and other assignments as needed
