Substitution of Experience for Education Permitted (Non-faculty only)
The position (1) ensures the academic services to learning disabled students, (2) provides alternative techniques and learning strategies to enable learning-disabled students to accommodate their disabilities, and (3) provides remediation tutoring as requested.
Prefer applicants with: (1) a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities, (2) Florida Certification in Learning Disabilities, and (3) higher education experience working in Disability Services.

Key job responsibilities for the position include: (1) reviewing learning disability documentation to identify appropriate accommodations for classes and (2) providing learning strategies and compensatory techniques to students.
