The primary purpose of this role is to manage the training function for operational training for the company. This includes
needs assessment, design, development, delivery and evaluation of courses for employees of all levels using a variety of methods including classroom, online and blended learning techniques. This position also works closely with business units to align with core competency development, creates online learning paths and develops an online library to enhance identified skills.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
  • Analyzes training needs for new hires and upskilling opportunities for existing roles within the company
  • Designs and develops learning content for all levels of operational employees, including PIMs and Brightree Systems
  • Facilitates learning experiences for onboarding, functional job skills, patient skills and quality
  • Maintains active online learning library for content based on job descriptions
  • Works with Subject Matter Experts to include CCS Medical specific content in all learning experiences
  • Determines appropriate measurements to evaluate training, including, but not limited to, criterion-referenced achievement tests, questionnaires, simulations, observations, performance checklists and demonstrations
  • Collaborates with other members of the Learning and Development team to produce high-quality
    results
  • Works with clients to ensure needs are met
  • Reports results to the Learning and Development Director
  • Aligns with Human Resources department for consistency of messaging
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, and consistent attendance
Other Duties:
  • Assists other office personnel in the performance of their duties
  • Maintains and promotes patient confidentiality
  • Maintains open lines of communication with organizational leadership and inter and intra department management and personnel
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
  • Actively participates in Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager
  • Abides by all departmental, Employee, and Company policies, procedures and standards
  • Maintains scheduling flexibility to ensure availability to meet the needs of the department for all hours of operation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from 4 year college or university preferred. Three to five years of Learning and Development experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong interpersonal relation skills, specifically a willingness to assist others
  • Ability to think creatively and maintain a proactive, open mindset
  • Ability to prioritize while taking a positive approach to challenging issues
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the
    organization
  • Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with employees at all levels
  • Proficient with various Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of authoring software, including Articulate, Captivate and others, and Learning Management Systems
  • Proficient in all areas of skillsets necessary in a patient-centered environment
  • Experience with variety of media to create blended learning experiences
  • Solid knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Accelerated Learning principles
  • Solid knowledge of accepted industry principles and terminology, including Kirpatrick’s Four Levels, Bloom’s Taxonomy
    test-writing standards, and others
  • High level of Facilitation/Presentation skills, including conducting interactive learning activities and effective debriefs
  • Ability to provide effective feedback in group and on-on-one settings
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environment and different learning styles
