We are a private, commercial real estate firm located in Southern California. We are looking for stellar and experienced professionals to join our team. You will use your experience in all aspects of leasing, acquisition, and sales of shopping centers. The individual will work closely with in-house and outside attorneys and various departments throughout the company. Prior hands-on experience negotiating and working with commercial lease documents in a law firm or in-house legal department is preferred.

Be able to take an LOI through lease negotiation to finalized lease agreement. Negotiate, administer and draft commercial retail lease agreements (specifically regional shopping center and strip center developments) and sublease agreements for existing store and new store sites. Negotiate the optimum term rental rates and common area rental terms in accordance with Landlords proposed budgetary requirements and company policies. Prepare and distribute ancillary lease documents including mutually agreed upon terms, commencement letter agreements, and lease addendums to modify, extend, renew, or terminate lease agreements.

5+ solid years in a paralegal capacity in a commercial retail real estate environment with stable work history.

Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Word.

Individual must have good organizational and communication skills and must be able to work independently and be well organized. Must have 5+ years in leasing, acquisitions and sales of shopping centers, and prior commercial real estate experience.

Professional demeanor - must be detail oriented, excellent communication ability with superb follow-up and problem solving skills.
