Five or more years of experience in administrative support or relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Serve as primary administrative and secretarial support for General Counsel and Senior Paralegal.
Prepare a variety of legal agreements and correspondence.
Schedule meetings, maintain calendar and all files for General Counsel.
Organize and file all division legal documents and develop new filing system as necessary.
Prepare leasing status and other reports as required.
Interact with outside counsel, property managers, and consultants.
Assemble, code and distribute legal bills for approval and payment.
High level of word processing accuracy and attention to detail with strong computer skills in Microsoft Word.
Significant experience with preparation of contracts (leases and land sale agreements), or similar relevant experience in fast-paced environment.
Good oral and written communication skills, ability to compose business letters, internal memos.
Excellent organizational skills; ability to maintain and create effective filing systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent phone demeanor.
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and perform primary position duties with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated work ethic.
Experience in and understanding of leasing and/or land sale documents, practices and procedures.
