To provide support functions to attorneys in the areas of collection law.
Prepare form correspondence and pleadings for legal matters for attorney approval.
Maintain office and court coverage calendars.
Communicate with courts and process servers.
Track status of cases and diary collection matters in a timely manner.
Schedule court appearances for attorneys in assigned states.
Maintain open communication with unit personnel regarding priorities and workflow status.
Protect confidential information by preventing unauthorized release, both verbal and written.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent and three to five years experience showing progressive level of responsibility in an office environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Excellent communication skills; oral, written and auditory.
Ability to handle a high volume of cases.
Exceptional attention to detail with proofreading and quality assurance ability.
Above average analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent computer skills, including ability to use MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to type using a keyboard at a minimum of 40 wpm.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, maintain attention to detail, and recognize time constraints.
Good initiative and self-management skills.
High level of accuracy.
Understanding of the legal process and court requirements in the states in which Solomon and Solomon, P.C. practices law.
