Provides Legal Administrative support to Americas Legal.
Maintains corporate books for the Americas entities, schedules board and shareholder meetings, and serves as Assistant Secretary of the Americas entities
Handles CSC reporting and registrations in US and Canadian jurisdictions for the Americas entities
Handles recording and reporting of legal expenses to General Counsel
Maintains the file room for the Americas Legal Team, including records of powers of attorney and foreign registrations
Handles service of process and assists in gathering documents for document productions and responses to subpoenas and maintains litigation files
Handles bankruptcies (investigation and filings)
Handles regular administrative functions for General Counsel including, but not limited to, travel arrangements, copying, overnight mailings, faxes, filing, and document preparation
Handles other administrative tasks for the Americas Legal Team as assigned by the General Counsel
Experience and training as a paralegal or a legal secretary
Post high-school education desired
High level of skill in time management, organization , oral and written communication, and computer literacy
Self-motivated, requires little direction and detailed supervision, listens well, and learns quickly
