This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to a senior level manager and/or a department. Handles confidential company, department, and teammate information.
A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
Maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Coordinate and effectively communicate with staff, teammates, vendors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to phone calls, emails, voice-mails, and written correspondence.
Coordinate and track status of department initiatives and projects; follow-up on outstanding action items and reports status to manager.
Coordinate travel, meetings, sessions, and other events.
Compile documents and information including graphics and visuals.
Maintain accurate files and records.
Make photocopies and faxes documentation as needed.
Track and reconcile team /department expense reports.
Work under minimal supervision and plan own work.
Escalate issues to management, when appropriate.
Exercise good judgment within areas of responsibility.
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Have 3-5 years administrative/clerical support.
Have 3-5 years PC experience. MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Have strong problem solving skills.
Possess excellent communications skills.
Be able to work under minimal supervision.
Be able to maintain confidential information.
Be able to work in diverse and fast paced environment.
