The Baltimore office of a large law firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their corporate practice team and work with their debt finance department. Responsibilities will include: review correspondence and legal documents, reviewproformas (initiates transfers), edits and prepares draft/final bills and cover letters for clients, manage attorneyÂ’s calendars, make travel arrangements, handle the filing and retrieval of electronic information and client files, review and edit invoices; and provide additional support to staff as needed.
Candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of legal secretarial experience and be comfortable working with financial and corporate documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 is required and experience with Elite (or other comparable time entry software). Candidate needs to have the ability to work under pressure of time deadlines, have significant organizational skills, and work cohesively with the other secretaries/staff on projects.
