LOCATION: 4205 N. 7th Ave, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85013

The State Board of Dental Examiners examines, licenses, and certifies professionals to practice in the field of dentistry, registers business entities providing dental services and permits mobile dental facilities. The Board also accepts complaints against licensees, certificate holders, business entities and mobile dental facilities, investigates allegations, and adjudicates complaints. The Board regulates approximately 8,300 professionals licensed or certified to practice in the state and approximately 300 business entities.

The Board is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to perform administrative tasks. The position is responsible for processing complaints to include maintaining and tracking complaints in a database and creating appropriate reports and correspondences. This position also prepares and mails subpoenas and provides information to the public and licensees regarding the complaint process.

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

KNOWLEDGE:
-Computer software including MS Word and MS Excel

-Cognitive skills
-Computer skills
-Clear and effective communication skills
-Establishing and maintaining working relations with teams and legal representation
-Organization and time management skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and coordinate activities for multiple individuals

ABILITIES:
-Complete tasks timely and accurately
-Follow directives proficiently
-Team player who can also work independently
