Performs secretarial and administrative duties for the Senior Attorney and, on occasion, for other attorney staff. Assists in managing schedules, arranging appointments, travel, meetings, conference calls, etc. Work on assigned projects requires analysis and use of intuitive and independent judgment with frequent access to confidential and highly complex information. Proficiently creates and maintains electronic and paper files with completeness and accuracy, resolves routine office problems and occasionally travels locally to assist Legal Department with business matters.

Bachelor’s degree in business or liberal arts desirable

Associate’s degree in business or secretarial science required
·
May substitute adequate previous experience in lieu of education

Proven experience demonstrating strong analytical and problem solving skills

Must be detail oriented and experienced with word processing applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
·
Professional appearance and presentation required
·
High level of initiative and the ability to work with confidential information required
·
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work on schedule and within deadlines

Working knowledge of banking and legal terminology is highly preferred
Primary Activities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Reviews required documentation for accuracy and completeness.
·
Resolves both routine and complex administrative problems.
·
Communicates with others in a professional and discrete manner.
·
Takes dictation by digital machine and transcribes voice recordings.
·
Composes and directs written correspondence to various individuals, both outside and within the Bank.
·
Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records, usually of a highly confidential nature.
·
Arranges appointments and meetings as requested by persons within and outside the Bank.
·
Screens telephone calls and visitors.
·
Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing paper and electronic mail.
·
Orders and stocks office supplies.
·
Occasional local driving may be required to other locations and/or offices.
·
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
