Job Summary:
Morgan Lewis is currently seeking a Legal Secretary for its Intellectual Property Practice Group.

A minimum of 5 years of current experience with US and ex-US patent prosecution and filing procedures is required. Other necessary skills include: strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Word; ability to work independently, take initiative and carry out assignments to completion with minimal supervision; ability to work well under pressure and execute multiple and critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; superior organizational skills and attention to detail. The candidate must be client service-driven, team-oriented and have strong administrative and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work overtime is preferred. Administrative responsibilities include monitoring daily docket, preparing materials, executing patent documents and applications upon request, making travel arrangements and preparing travel itineraries, maintaining patent case files, processing new business intake, time entry, correspondence filing, answering phones and taking messages, scheduling appointments, monitoring and processing incoming mail, reviewing client bills and correspondence, filing and processing expenses.
