Summary – The Lending Processor is responsible for managing the process flow of all consumer loan applications. This includes contacting the member for information needed in relation to their loan application, preparing loan documents, organizing closings and loan funding as well as imaging the entire package and all supporting documents. All activities must be completed accurately and timely and in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Qualifications –
Equivalent to a high school education

Two to five years of similar or related experience

Thorough knowledge of the financial industry

Understanding and knowledge of how to comply with all State and Federal regulations: Reg. Z (Truth in Lending), Reg. B (Equal Credit Opportunity), and other lending regulations.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with member (internal and external) face to face, on the telephone, via email and in writing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities –
Manage application flow and loan queues accurately and efficiently to ensure timely lending decisions are made and to meet member needs.
Serve as a liaison between the front line, the credit team and the member to ensure timely process flow, turnaround time and great member service.
Gather all items as requested by Credit Analysts to satisfy titling and other collateral needs, while articulating to the member the need for the requests.
Prepare, image and disperse all documentation for loans to ensure accurate handling within all rules and regulations
Send all insurance documentation for funded loans to appropriate parties to ensure CCCU secured loans are properly insured.
Prepare loan documentation according to established policies and procedures to ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate.
Process member loan closing and ensure loan documentation and disbursements are complete and accurate.
Maintain knowledge of the credit union’s products and services and look for opportunities to match products to a member’s needs
Maintain accurate and up to date goal achievement and incentive tracking for both personal and managerial reporting purposes.
Continuously analyze processes and procedures and proactively identify, recommend, and implement solutions to ensure efficient processes support the day to day operations. Supervisory Responsibilities –
