Zycron has a great Level 3 Technical Support opportunity. The selected candidate will be working with our client located in Huntsville, AL. This is a 12 month contract.

Job Description:
Support technician responsible for installation, configuration and support of production computers, servers, LAN/WAN infrastructure, network printers, A/V equipment (including video conferencing components).

Responsible regional coordination and local implementation of all hardware installs & changes that affect the local server room environment; to include servers (both physical and virtual), tape backup devices, NAS devices, UPS, HVAC and associated monitoring services.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SCCM and network folder security is required.
Candidate will be required to design, setup and configure network infrastructure solutions as well as multiple Windows Server Platforms to meet Regional IS and local Manufacturing strategic directions. Strong troubleshooting capabilities in these areas are required.
Knowledge in installation and configuration of LAN/WAN Cabling (copper, fiber), telecommunications (PBX, Voice Mail) and Video Conferencing. Candidate will be required to install and configure switches (Cisco) and install/setup multi-point videoconference equipment.
Strong Project Management skills a plus. May require the ability to create and lead project activities.
Candidate should be able to work under pressure. L3 has primary responsibility for server room (servers, tape backup, SAN, etc.) and network infrastructure items (switches, routers, access points, etc.), all of which have production impact and require immediate response / resolution
Strong proficiency in written/verbal communication skills is required to effectively communicate and report out on status of current activities
Team player with ability to multi-task, a self-starter with the ability to take direction and see activities through to completion with minimal oversight
Provide 24 hour emergency on-call support for site coverage
Network and/or Server certifications a plus (i.e. Network +, CCNA, CCNE, MCSA)
