Provides general nursing to patients in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, under the supervision of a physical or Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Required Education/Training:
High school graduate or equivalent GED.
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
Successful completion of a pharmacology course.
Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Required Experience:
One year of work experience in a healthcare setting, preferably an outpatient setting.
