Job Details:
- Licensure Required
Participates in applying the nursing process under the supervision of the registered nurse by performing assigned skilled nursing activities and by providing general support to promote safe and effective patient care.

policies

Utilizes standard precautions during patient contact and when handling contaminated materials

Demonstrates compliance with National Patient Safety Goals

Maintains ethical principles with patient care and all other aspects of work

Does not discuss patient or colleague confidential information where other parties can overhear conversations, such as hallways,

elevators, cafeteria, or the lobby

Participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as required in the job description

Attends required in-services and meetings

Complete required mandatory competencies by deadline

Possesses information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed

Meets all other required job specific competencies as outlined in the job description

Essential Functions

Participates in performance improvement activities.

Participates in applying the nursing process under the supervision of the registered nurse.

Demonstrates accountability to the registered nurse for skilled nursing care activities.

Interacts with patients, family members, and other visitors courteously in an effort to promote customer satisfaction in

accordance with standards and policy.

Documents patient care activities and patient outcomes in response to care promoting safe and effective nursing care in

accordance with accepted nursing standards and departmental policy.

Educational/Training Requirements

Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred

Licensed to practice in the state.

Experience
