This is a position that will be an integral part of our Patient Centered Medical Home concept. You will provide care to patients including call backs, telephone and walk in triage, medication refills per refill protocol; routine patient functions including clinician assistance, patient placement, testing, information gathering, chaperoning, supply maintenance, and scheduling.
Applicant will be expected to successfully complete formal University training by the end of the probationary period.

Outpatient family medical environment and exposure. The essential functions of this position will involve mobility (walking; being able to stand for long periods of time during patient exams/procedures, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs in the function of patient positioning and assistance.
Ability to pull including using the upper body to exert force to draw, drag, haul or tug objects; to push including using the upper body to press against an object with force; reach including extending the arm or hand; stand including standing for short or extended time periods; engage in repetitive motions including movements of the hands, wrists or fingers; grasp including applying pressure to objects with fingers or hands; walk including moving by foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for extended periods of time or over a long distance; feel including perceiving size, shape, temperature and texture; touch including finger dexterity; speak including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others; hear including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound; see including unique visual requirements above and beyond the standard ability to see with or without corrective eyewear such as color vision, depth perception, etc.
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
Required Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:
These requirements may be imposed by federal, state or recognized accrediting agency as a prerequisite of employment
Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
