The LVN is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California. One year experience as an LVN. Knowledge of the principles and practices of primary medical and nursing care. Understands the philosophy of hospice concept preferred. Demonstrates the ability to use good verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to work as a team member. BLS required within 60 days of hire. Current California driver's license and proof of insurance. Travel required. High-Desert area. Night shift.
