Develop vision system related parts (exterior/interior lighting, wiper/washer system, lighting control units, mirrors, etc.) for future Honda Accura vehicles.
-Lighting distribution analysis, lighting output calculations, subjective lighting evaluations on the vehicle
-actively collect & understand the functional (hardware, software & communication) requirements for above systems.
-Propose, justify and develop new functionality (harware, software, HMI) to meet the market requirements.
-Develop, write and issue specificiations for above parts/systems.
-Create and manage the part development schedule with consideration to all parties (suppliers, Honda designers, overall vehicle development)
-Manage the part supplier to achieve the development requirements on schedule
-Peform all necessary vehicle testing (Lighting measurement, hardware reliability testing, software function evaluation, system operating performance) including actual part retrofit to guarantee the product is acceptable for mass production.
-Write all necessary reports, presentations, or technical documents to explain and/or make a record of the development activities
-Support factory, sales, etc as required for product explanations, owners manual reviews, manufacturing issues or market complaints.

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
-3 years automotive experience, preferrably in lighting or vision systems (but not required)
-experience w/project management(setting and managing schedules, meeting deadlines, directing other groups to achieve development goals, etc.)
-ability to use common electrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, ESD equipment)
-experience with CAN and LIN communication protocols
-experience with troubleshooting ECU hardware or vehicle function failures
-ability to function independently on a day to day basis
-good organizational and multi-tasking skills
-excellent written and verbal communication skills
-highly motivated and takes initiative
