The primary function of the Line Cook is to prepare high quality food to order for guests based on established menu guidelines and sanitary standards. Must be able to prepare Ala carte, broil, sauté and fry. Set up and break down of the line is function of the job. Must be able to work in a high volume environment, create menu items and service both internal and external customers. Should be able to present hot & cold entrees, have good communication skills and be able to handle pressure while multitasking. Long hours on your feet required. The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while standing. The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. The ability to coordinate the movement of your arms, legs, and torso together when the whole body is in motion.
