The Line Cook is responsible for preparing cooked foods at all station functions of Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry and cooking eggs. Follows recipes for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items to include soups, meats, vegetable, desserts and other food and beverage products. Will also have to estimate food requirements, check production and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements. The Line Cook will requisition supplies and equipment as needed. Stocks, dates, rotates and checks temperature of product. Operates a variety of kitchen equipment, cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment. Practices excellent food safety and sanitation standards. The current position is available at our two restaurants, fine dining and causal.
