The Line Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing the Line Department team, including managing the personnel and daily operations, as well as training and development of team members.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Line Department
• Completes necessary receipts, fuel tickets and in-house accounts and records as needed
• Manage the performance of line technicians
• Create and manage new hire Line Technician training
• Maintain a good relationship with the airport authority
• Manage the personnel’s schedule
• Manage the budgetary goals within the department
• Assist with purchasing and maintaining fuel inventories
• Assist in departmental hiring
• Maintain good customer relations with all vendors and clients
• Oversee and approve Team Members timesheets
• Police ramp areas in and about hangars, lounge areas, shops and other areas of the company
• Assists with aircraft crews and passengers by providing exceptional customer service
• De-icing of aircraft with accordance of specified standards
• Responsible to manage the radio and telephone calls
• Fueling and moving of aircraft
• Parks, tows and stores aircraft and directs the movement of aircraft
• Assists with ground support
• Assists with snow removal
• Manage the facility security, maintenance and upkeep
• Manage the safety team
• Responsible to follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Line Tech required; supervisory experience a plus
• Must be detail-orientated
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities/fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts and be on-call

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling required
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures
